This position provides logistical support, project management and production assistance for the marketing and communications department. The position is responsible for all social media outlets on behalf of the organization and assists the Director of Marketing & Communication as the staff liaison for the TMA NextGen (young professionals) group.
RESPONSIBILITIES SEGMENTED BY TIME SPENT (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED UPON BUSINESS NEED)
Marketing and Communications (80%)
Assembly of the TMA Weekly Report e-newsletter to 9,000 plus members weekly.
Manage all email communications sent to the membership.
Project management of communication materials to membership using print, social media, website and email tools.
Project manager for communications materials for the two anchor conferences. Works with Associate Director, Brand and Creative on creative concepts.
Manage website updates for TMA Global events.
Content manager for all social media activity (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Proof final copy of Journal of Corporate Renewal, the official publication of TMA.
Works with chapters to ensure that creative requests are assigned and completed on a timely basis.
Serves as writer for ad hoc projects as needed.
Leadership Support (20%)
Key liaison for TMA NextGen (young professionals) committee. This role includes staff support of annual meeting and the coordination of ongoing meetings and creation of committee reports and actions.
Other responsibilities as assigned or required.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant major required
2 to 4 years of marketing experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Products, social media such as Twitter and LinkedIn and email marketing products (familiarity with Constant Contact preferred)
Proofreading and editing experience of highly technical content
